The biggest moment of the 2024 season came when the Gauchos defeated UC Riverside to capture their 5th Big West championship, their 3rd in 5 years. I filmed the celebrations, aiming to capture the raw emotion of winning a championship, and quickly edited this video. It was posted in collaboration with the Big West as well as NCAA Baseball. It received 122K views, 21K likes and reached over 83K accounts.
"The Robbery"
With the bases loaded and the lead on the line, UCSD looked like they would pull ahead with a go-ahead grand slam. Jessada Brown said otherwise. I edited this video and posted it in collaboration with NCAA Baseball and the Big West. With 156K views, 23K likes and over 101K accounts engaged, it became our most viral video of the season.
"Clutch"
Holding onto a lead in the 9th inning against UC Irvine, freshman pitcher, Jackson Flora proved that pitchers are in fact athletes with an incredible double play followed by a game-ending strikeout. I edited this video splicing my own footage with the ESPN broadcast. The video was posted exclusively on UCSB Baseball social channels and received 17K views and 1.3K likes, well over the average for that season.
"He won't get it cause it's gone!"
Aaron Parker's 3 run home run would prove to be the difference maker in a tight game against Cal State Fullerton. I opted for a simple edit to let the moment, and the call, speak for itself. The video was viewed 17K times and received over 1K likes.
"The Dealer"
Tyler Bremner had an outstanding 2024 season, solidifying himself as one of the best pitchers in college baseball. In this video I edited three separate pitches to appear as though it was a multi-cam view of the same pitch.
